Wait, I'm A Mom of TWO?

While my real-life friend Aliya, mom to legit "Irish Twins," has been off galavanting along the beaches of New Jersey for the week, she invited a slew of wonderful ladies to guest blog for her. In fact, she invited ladies who are currently all living in different seasons of life: a bride-to-be, a young married couple, a new mom, a seasoned mom and a mom of two, to share a a day that is typical to them.

I bet you can't guess which role I played, can you?

I loved reading the posts from the Bride-to-Be and the Young Married Couple. It gave me a few minutes to walk down memory lane and reminisce about mine and The Husband's life before kids, when we used to refer to ourselves as "DINKs" [dual income no kids]. The wedding planning, the date nights, the frivolous spending of money. I used to think that those were the days and although I'm a Mom of Two, I still have much in common with each of those ladies- my days are filled with morning coffee, a little Pinterest'ing, the occasional D.I.Y project and a glass of wine (or three) on the couch with my other half.

However similar, my days tend to look much more like the days of The New Mom and The Seasoned Mom, what with trips to the park, mom-dates, bedtime stories and diapers, diapers and more diapers- but with a little extra helping of chaos thrown in.

You see, after reading this week's guest series, I've come to the conclusion that I have it all. I've been there, I've done that, I've taken home the requisite tourist-y shot glass. And I feel so incredibly blessed.

To read my complete guest post, head on over to Aliya's blog "Double the Fun..." Happy Friday Loyals. Have a great weekend. Be sure to check back in on Monday for a giveaway from one of my favorite online jewelry retailers..
