Wee One Wednesday - Yes, We're Still At the Beach

I know, I know. I'd be hating myself too at this point. Enough with the beach already, AP! But? I can't help it. We're still here and I really do try and post each week's Wee One Wednesday using current pictures that I've snapped that week. So? This is what you get.

Can't you just feel the sand between your toes? The ocean breeze in your hair? C'mon. Close your eyes. That bitey feeling? Oh, those are just the occasional sand flea. No big deal.

Carter loves his Mickey towel. And when I say "loves," I mean he luuuurves it. So much so that whenever I break it out, he immediately grabs for it and starts giving Mickey giant, wet, sloppy Carter-kisses. Sure, he loves Mickey on TV and even on the hood of his towel. But god forbid a two-foot-tall Mickey starts dancing the Macarena in front of him and even Carter loses his shit. Poor kid.

It's official. I need a new fedora. I'm pretty sure you all are tired of seeing this one. Maybe Carter and I will hit up some local surf shops and see if they have anything to offer! Shh, don't tell The Husband! This picture was taken at the pool. Needless to say, Carter was impartial. He was too busy watching all the older boys swim and splash and toss a football around to even care about swimming in the big boy pool!

Surf Life Forever, yo! It's rare that you'll see my little towhead without his rash guard on! We have three or four of them currently, some purchased from The Children's Place, others from Babies R' Us and I'm already looking to add a few more to our collection! In his short ten months of life, Carter has also amassed quite the collection of swim trunks. Five or six pair, to be exact! But I can't get over how cute his little tush looks when he's rocking just a swim dipe. iPlay is our new favorite go-to and I may or may not have been online looking for new prints to add to the collection! Shout out to my real-life Mommy friend Maggie for introducing me to the brand! Woot!

You can't tell from the picture but Baby C loves the beach! He has a blast digging through the sand, crawling all over the place and knocking down sand castles! I love having a little Beach Bum on my hands! He's such a lucky boy to grow up with the opportunity to spend so much time at the beach!

Hope you're having a great week, Loyals! Happy Wednesday!

  3. I'm loving all the beach posts! Living vicariously through you at the moment!

Question--how do the rash guards fit? In other words, would you buy a size larger than normal or do they fit to size?

  7. I'm glad someone is getting to enjoy the beach! We've got a heat wave up here in Joisey, so I am jealous! Carter will have to give Tommy lessons in how to enjoy the beach...the sand was not a big hit the other night when we took a walk up there...but I will make him a beach bum even if it takes until he's 18!

  13. My sweetie ordered that little giraffe baby toy for my Baby Doll. It cost $18.00! Then my kids said it was a glorified dog toy...

  16. What fun! We haven't really taken Babes to the beach yet...which is weird since it's only a mile away. I may just go this weekend!

  17. I love all these cute beach pics! We had a swimming fail last week...our 5 month old did not like the cold water. And on top of that ter 6-12 month size bathing suit was too small! I think we need to go the rash guard route, too.

Oh, and we love our big brimmed iPlay hat.
