A Special Wee One Wednesday: Prayers For My Gammy!




This is a special Wee One Wednesday for my Mom who will be undergoing surgery at 11am today to reset some very delicate, very stubborn broken bones in her hand. In typical Momma M fashion, my mother tripped going down the stairs last week and broke her fall with her ring finger. Despite badly fracturing both her knuckle and smaller bones in her finger, my mom is most upset about her wedding rings. For the first time in thirty-six years, my mother is without her wedding rings. Doesn't that just break your heart? Breaks my heart, too.
 
 


 
Carter and I ask that if you remember, could you please lift Momma M up in prayer today? Pray for the doctors and anesthesiologist who will be in charge of her care and performing the surgery as well as the nurses who will be helping her through recovery, pretty please? It would mean the world to us.
 


 
Gammy, if you're reading this.. Good luck and get well soon! We can't wait to see you this weekend! We love you very, very much! You're the best Gammy in the whole wide world.

    Done! Hope the surgery goes well and she regains full use of her ring finger, that's a very important finger! Now let's talk about how cute C's stripey jammies are :)

    I will definitely keep your mom in my prayers today! Surgery is always scary, and what a bummer to be without your wedding rings?! Can she maybe wear them around her neck or on her left hand in the mean time?
