Mommy Milestone #165:
Suddenly realizing that Mickey's Clubhouse on the Disney channel is god's gift to Mommies who wish to enjoy their morning coffee sitting down... and with two hands. It's already a really, really good Friday.
Have a wonderful weekend. We'll be trimming Carter's first Christmas tree! You know, Carter. Our four month old son who's the size of an average six month old. No big deal.
ha the dvd is on while I'm reading your blog... we have easter one (not sure how that happened in dec) but it's on so much that i catch myself singing the songs.. lol.. my husband said we have to buy a new dvd he's tired of hearing " a ring-a-ling-a-ling time"
ReplyDeleteshut up that is the cutest pic EVER! That's how KP is with Dora, she laid on the floor for an hour last night watching her!
ReplyDeletedude. what a STUDLY man.
ReplyDeleteAnd also? Since about the age of 2.5 months or so--I've enjoyed my coffee with 2!hands! thanks to the playmat first. Then, baby einstein. Now? The highchair and some toys. Sometimes the jumperoo. Their independence just grows and its really.really.nice.
Awe! He loves it! Whatever parent said they don't allow their children to watch any tv is CUCKOO to me! Ha! Those are the moments that able you to make it through the rest of the day!
ReplyDeleteSaid: the non-parent ;)
Viv will watch pretty much anything on tv, but have you tried Yo Gabba Gabba yet? Definitely her favorite. It's like baby magic. She coos and giggles the whole time it's on!
ReplyDeleteWe're big on the Hot Dog Dance at this house too. Greyson has no interest in Baby Einsten, but Mickey is like his baby crack. I secretly love it and will do the Hot Dog Dance as many times as I have to for him to stay in his exersaucer while I eat breakfast :)
ReplyDeleteI usually turn on Clifford or Super Why, however, I have heard other moms talk about MMC. Maybe we need to check it out so he will be entertained for a while longer! Better yet, I am just going to DVR it so I can turn it on whenever needed.
ReplyDeleteHis cheeks look so cute in this picture! I think they have grown. :)
ReplyDeleteI just sang the title to this post. No shame.
ReplyDeleteThat's how we spend our mornings too. BG with her milk and Mickey while I try to down 2 or 3 cups of coffee and wake up!
Have the best weekend girl!
Mickeys clubhouse even works on my hubby :) xxxooo
ReplyDeleteI love how he's sitting like an old man with his hands on his legs and everything!
